is with great pleasure that I present a project that involves me and I'm passionate about: the birth of the first school of Yoga teacher training in my city: Genoa.
The school, founded by Michael Roccatagliata, beloved friend and talented teacher yoga, it is proposed the ambitious goal of providing its students a thorough preparation based on a diversified approach. In fact, the teachers come from very different school of reference their own to allow students to confront our discipline in all its shades allowing a harmonious synthesis of the same.
The school is recognized by UISP and offers the guarantee of a solid and thorough preparation. Public
following is an excerpt of the program and contact details for every future and any relevant contact information:
Objectives of the school:
- forming a solid theoretical basis and practical training to help develop its own methodology through experimentation with different teaching methods.
- to promote a process of evolution and personal development, a process that is characteristic of Yoga as well as life. The course does not adopt the method of a specific school and the teachers come from different paths and experiences.
structure and duration of the course:
- The course of study is structured in three years to achieve a basic education that allows, through the final exam, obtaining a Diploma of Teacher of Hatha Yoga - 405 hours.
- For those who wish to pursue the path and achieve the Diploma of Teacher of Hatha and Raja Yoga is expected a further year of study of 95 hours in total, of which 35 are fixed and 60 will be chosen as early as Year 3 of the modules of specialization, for a total number of hours in the 4 years of 500 hours.
- The specialization modules allow for more specific training on selected topics and are also open to non-members
whole program.
- a modular course structure allows students annually who wish to obtain the Diploma of Teacher of Hatha Yoga "to fit in any of the 3 years.
- The course will consist of 9 weekend in three years (plus 4 optional specialization) and 6 in the fourth year (or less if you have already attended the previous modules).
Frequency:
Attendance is mandatory for those who intend to graduate. Absences are allowed no more than 15% of the total hours.
Examinations:
- On the way are expected to self-test (psychology, philosophy, theory and texts yoga, pranayama, anatomy and physiology).
- At the end of the course of three years or four years, the student will discuss an argument he made on a topic chosen in agreement with the educational direction of the school and will support a theoretical / practical which includes the drafting of the structuring of a complete lesson, practice and the conduct of a meeting of culture and philosophy.
- Students attending the course for personal growth and do not want to devote themselves to teaching the discipline may not have the argument and not take the exam. It will be issued a certificate of attendance that enables one to teach.
Certification at the end of the trail:
At the end of their studies of 3 years or 4 years and supported a successful review of theory and practice, it will be sent to the School UISP the documentation that will allow the release of the Teacher's Diploma Hatha Yoga or Hatha and Raja Yoga UISP directly by itself.
Citation Frequency
modules provide specialized training credit and can be used within the School to reach the hours specified for l'ottenimento della qualifica di insegnante.

pratica yoga di almeno tre anni documentata o autocertificata.
- Diploma di scuola media superiore o una formazione culturale equivalente.
- Accettazione del Codice deontologico previsto dalla U.I.S.P.
- Colloquio preliminare.
L'ammissione è subordinata a giudizio insindacabile della Direzione della Scuola.
